Manorcroft United has become recognised as one of the best run football clubs in the region. Our volunteers and members take huge pride in what we do and those that have visited our home ground at Coopers Hill Lane will know how well the facility is kept, our pitches are known as some of the best in the region and we hope that this helps keep the reputation of this fantastic village and community.

Our annual tournament is recognised as one of the best in the South of England and every year teams travel from all over the South of the Country to take part, we appreciate it puts a huge strain for one weekend of the year on the local community and we can’t thank the village enough for all the support we receive, especially from Royal Holloway who help hugely with parking.

Manorcroft 5’s is our community programme for children in Reception and Year 1, this programme runs weekly and there is no obligation to sign to the Club, it is aimed at helping Children enjoy the game and begin to develop key fundamental skills. As a Club we aim for consistent and strong progression routes and the Manorcroft 5’s is often a source for our new under 7’s teams to find players.

As part of our community involvement the Club often helps in local schools by providing free coaching, we provided the coaching alongside Active Soccer for a number of years for the girl’s football team representing Runnymede at the Surrey Youth games. We also provide kit and equipment for our local schools and colleges.

As part of being actively involved with the community the Club has also helped with litter picks held by EGVRA and last year for the first time we supported the remembrance day memorial service which is something we intend to do moving forward over the coming years, the Club also supports the memorial services held at the Air Forces memorial and all games are suspended at home on these days to allow peaceful commemoration’s to take place.
