Following Government announcements on the easing of social distancing restrictions on Tuesday 23 June, we are in active discussions with other team sports, Sport England and the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport about how we can secure a safe return to competitive grassroots football as soon as is reasonably possible.
We will continue to keep you updated as these discussions progress and provide amended guidance as and when we can.
In the meantime, please do continue to refer to the guidance documents for adult players, coaches, facility operators, parents and carers involved in re-starting grassroots football activity issued on 12 June until a further update is provided.
Thank you for playing your vital part in helping our great game get going again and let’s continue to work together to ensure football’s return is as smooth and safe as possible.
For Manorcroft Members your first guidance should be via the Manorcroft United Phase 1 Return document.

A huge thank you to the Managers, Assistants and Committee members who socially distanced themselves whilst preparing the pitches and outer clubhouse areas at Kings Lane in Englefield Green.
The club is delighted to officially unveil our new Training Ground which we hope will host the Development team moving forward as we match our academy player development structure with an infrastructure to match. We are delighted to be sharing the facility with fellow Englefield Green based Rugby Club; Egham Hollowegians who will also train and play games at the venue.
Such exciting times for the Club, still plenty of work to be done but a real sense of achievement as we now add a dedicated training venue for our members.
Moving forward both Clubs hope to develop the facility to incorporate much more community involvement and activities. A huge thanks to those at the council who have helped both clubs to get Kings Lane back up and running as a focus for local community sport. With so many members living in the surrounding houses just a stones throw from the facility it also means we can officially say it helps us reduce our carbon footprint!
We are delighted that our Juniors will return to training in the format of our phase 1 return action plan and we hope that we will be back to some normality and using the facility to its full potential in the coming weeks.
Just the removal of one set of posts to organise and some football goals to make it fully ready for the next phase of our Covid-19 Return.
